Flotation cell, also known as flotation machine, refers to the machinery and equipment to complete the flotation process; it includes section airlift micro-bubble flotation machine, gas precipitation flotation machine, mechanically stirring air-charging floatation machine, inflatable agitated flotation machines and inflatable flotation machine. Among these devices, the mechanically stirring air-charging floatation machine is most commonly used.
Scope
The flotation separator is mainly used for sorting copper, zinc, lead, nickel, gold and other non-ferrous metals; it can also be used for rough and fine selection of black metal and non-metallic.
Working Principle
The impellers are driven by V- belt transmission, which produces centrifugal effect to form the negative pressure. On the one hand, the flotation plant inhales sufficient air to mix it with ore slurry; on the other hand, it stirs ore slurry and mixes it with medication to form the mineralized froth. And then the operators should adjust the height of flashboard and control the liquid level to make the useful froth be scraped by loam board
